Okra do-piaza is arguably the most popular traditional Pakistani/Indian vegetarian dish made with okra and a variety of spices. The dish is usually prepared by cooking sliced okra in a mixture of onions, tomatoes, and a blend of aromatic spices.

Substitution tip: If fresh okra is not available, then frozen okra also works well; just fry the frozen okra; do not defrost.  

Tip: This dish can be kept frozen as well.
